Twelve jurors and several alternates have been selected in the murder trial of Almond Upton following a four-day review process. 62-year-old Almond Upton of Florida is accused of intentionally swerving and hitting a New York State Trooper as he was conducting a traffic stop on Route 81 in 2014. Judge Joe Cawley began reviewing a pool of about 150 potential jurors on Monday. His review continued through yesterday morning. A major concern of the judge was finding jurors who could separate emotions from fact.
