Lockheed Martin Union members in Marietta Georgia are returning to the job this morning after narrowly rejecting a proposed strike last night.
The Union Local had recommended a strike; Union leaders had issues with pension and health insurance provisions in the contract proposal.
About 3,000 members of the union would have stopped working today had that strike been approved.
But the contract was approved by a vote of 1,366-1,006.
