Maine-Endwell High School Win Big In Competition

Maine-Endwell High School music performance groups have returned home after winning awards at the Music in the Parks festival held May 27 at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio.  The school’s symphonic band and string orchestra placed first in the competition, and the school’s orchestra placed first as the competition’s “overall orchestra.” The school’s women’s chorus placed second in the competition.  In addition, , Robin Linaberry the school’s director of bands says that Maine-Endwell was awarded the festival’s most prestigious award.

Maine-Endwell students were among 2,000 musicians from Michigan, Ohio, New York, North Carolina and New Jersey to compete in the festival.
