New York State Troopers responded to a reported domestic incident on New Year’s Day at 122 Washington Avenue, in the Village of Endicott. Upon arrival, Troopers located Michael Mezzarone, age 38, suffering from a stab wound to his back and his wife Theresa Mezzarone, age 41, suffering from a minor injury to her hand. The woman then left her residence to seek medical attention in a nearby residence, while the male was transported to Wilson Hospital where he was treated and released. Theresa Mezzarone was arrested for Assault 2nd degree, a Class “D” Felony and Michael Mezzarone was arrested for Assault 3rd Degree, a Class “A” Misdemeanor.
