The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Sunday a plane found by Pennsylvania State Police burned in a cornfield, is the same aircraft that went missing on September 2nd. The Cessna T50 crashed with one or two people aboard the vintage World War II twin engine plane. The plane was found burned out. Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board and FAA are at the crash site, 10 miles north of Factoryville Twp. The pilot did not file a flight plan, so the plane’s departure and arrival points for the day cannot be confirmed.
