July 14th, 2017, — On Friday, WEBO Morning Show Host and Newsman Chris Schmidt did his last broadcast on the station. Schmidt is moving on to a career in teaching. He left the station to finish post-graduate work at Binghamton University and to complete his New York State teaching certificate. Many surprise guests visited the morning show, including the “Chris Schmidt Fan Club” who declared the day “Chris Schmidt Day” all across WEBO’s 60-mile listening area. Previous host of the WEBO Morning Show and station owner Dave Radigan will return to host the popular morning program on Monday. WEBO’s Lew Sauerbrey will continue on the program with Radigan. The pair previously hosted the program together.
