Musician Graham Nash became a George Eastman House Honorary Scholar for his work as an artist and innovator.
Nash is a genuine pioneer in the field of digital printing, active since the 1980s.
Nash is best known as a member of the groups The Hollies and Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of both bands.
Nash is also an accomplished photographer; he curated the current exhibition of Rock ‘n’ Roll photos at the Eastman House.
WEBO attended the ceremony on Saturday.
In a wide ranging hour long session, Nash spoke about his early days with the Hollies. His favorite song was Bus Stop. The Everly Brothers were a major influence; he remembers the moment he heard Bye Bye Love, stopped him in his tracks.
Nash was articulate, funny, had great stories, and was completely down to earth.
