Two new exhibits open Saturday at the Tioga History Museum on Front Street in Owego. One exhibit, Farming: The Original Family Business, will feature artifacts, images, and video about the county’s farming and agricultural history by looking at harvest time on small family farms in the 19th and 20th centuries. The other exhibit, Women: The Invisible Farmers, shows the hard work women put forth on the farm: from cooking, cleaning, raising children and gardening, to managing the business. The cost to check out the exhibits is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors, and children and members are free. The exhibit will run through September. The museum is open 10am to 4pm Wednesday through Saturday.
