A new law in Pennsylvania will now allow drivers to pass through a red light if the light takes more than a couple minutes to turn green. The bill was originally intended for motorcyclists as some traffic light sensors that are weight-triggered would not be tripped by the light weight of a two-wheeled motorcycle. The bill was expended to all vehicles. Since its passing some Pennsylvania residents are expressing concerns over what the new law might do to safety on the roadway.
