New York State’s Education Department has released the 2016 state testing results of students in Grades 3rd through 8th. Two tests were held for students in that grade range, one in Mathematics, and the other in English Language Arts. Results from this year’s test were shown side-by-side with last year’s results for each school district in New York.
In Owego-Apalachin Schools, students tested 5% more proficient in ELA and 7% more proficient in Math.
In Waverly, testing results showed an increase of 5% in ELA proficiency but decreased 4% in math.
And in the Union-Endicott School District, proficiency in ELA went up 5%, and remained the same in mathematics.
Results for every school district can be found here.
