Owego village police, Tioga County sheriff’s deputies make multiple felony arrests

Owego Police Department recently made the following felony arrests:

  • Kara L. Craft, 33, Owego, NY, was arrested for Burglary in the Second Degree (Felony), following a investigation of Theft on North Avenue.
  • Kara L. Craft, 33, Owego NY, was arrested for Bench Warrant issued by Village of Owego Police for Failure to Appear in Court for Tampering with Physical Evidence (Felony) and Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Misdemeanor).
  • Christopher N. Elliott, 34, Owego, NY, was arrested for Bench Warrant issued by Village of Owego Police for Failure to Appear in Court for Burglary in the Third Degree (Felony).
  • Donald J. Cole, 24, Owego NY, was arrested for Bench Warrant issued by Village of Owego Court for Failure to Appear in Court for Assault in the Second Degree (Felony) and Aggravated Harassment (Misdemeanor).

TIOGA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

  • On May 9, 2023, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Kole D. Rose, of Berkshire, NY, for Assault in the Second degree, a class D felony, Criminal Mischief in the Fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of Harassment in the second degree, violations. On April 29, Rose, an inmate at the Tioga County Jail, is accused of damaging a county-owned television in a housing unit, spitting on two Corrections Officers and striking a third, causing physical injury.
  • On May 9, 2023, the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Alex R. Shoga, of Binghamton, NY, for one count of Assault on a Peace Officer, a class C felony, and two counts of Assault in the Second degree, class D felonies. Shoga, an inmate at the Tioga County Jail, is accused of striking two Corrections Officers on May 7, causing physical injury to one and serious physical injury to the other. Both Corrections Officers were treated at local hospitals and released.
