A Pennsylvania man was killed in a dump truck rollover Tuesday.
State Police say 72-year-old Ernest Compton of New Milford was driving west in Bradford County’s Overton Township when the accident occurred. The truck went off the road and onto the shoulder. Compton overcorrected, sending the dump truck rolling down an embankment into a fence and several trees.
The Susquehanna County man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The dump truck that Compton was driving was filled with stone for TNT Services of Montrose.
