A pavement reconstruction project will begin on Owego-Apalachin district property Wednesday. Sheldon Guile Boulevard will be repaved from the entrance to Tioga Opportunities, past the new district office and pool, over the bridge spanning a creek, and around the district’s bus garage. Traffic on the road will be reduced to one lane and there will be flaggers present. Parents and community members are warned that traffic will be congested before and after school and to plan accordingly. Estimates are for the project to last around three to four weeks, pending weather.
