Wednesday is the 75th anniversary of the attacks on Pearl Harbor and a special remembrance ceremony is being held in Owego. This year’s ceremony has been moved indoors to the Dale Sibley Memorial Dining Room in the basement of the VFW on Main Street in Owego. The keynote speaker this year will be Bill Kennedy, an Owego resident, who is a survivor of the Pearl Harbor attacks. The remembrance ceremony will begin at 12:55pm on Wednesday.
Jim Raftis, an organizer of the event, joined us on today’s WEBO Morning Show to tell us more. The full interview with Raftis can be heard below.
