State Police at Towanda have reported that a pedestrian-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning resulted in a serious injury. 25-year-old Erin Jerger, of Towanda, was struck by a truck driven by Robert Graham, of Milton, on Route 414 near Brocktown Road in Monroe Township. According to police, Jerger entered the path of the vehicle, but Graham was unable to avoid her. She was struck by the front of the truck and had to be transported to Robert Packer Hospital where she is being treated for injuries which are being described as serious. The crash is still under investigation.
