Pennsylvania State Police are calling the shooting that killed a Bradford County woman on Wednesday an accident.
41-year-old Tara Shave of Sayre was found mortally wounded at a home in Litchfield Township around 1:30pm Wednesday. She was taken to Robert Packer Hospital, where she died.
Neighbors say Tara’s husband, Steve, may have accidentally shot her. No charges have been filed and State Police will not comment on their investigation.
The couple moved to Litchfield Township three years ago from the Albany area.
Tara worked at the Willow Point Nursing Home in Vestal.
