The Racker Centers have joined a statewide effort to increase wages for direct care professionals who deal with people of all ages with special needs. Perry LoPinto was a guest on today’s WEBO Morning Show.
LoPinto says the Racker Centers and other organizations are having a difficult time hiring and retaining staff due to the low wages paid for by the state. They have postcards available at Racker Center sites, and more information can be found online at www.rackercenters.org.
