The Chenango County man convicted of killing his wife will appear in court for sentencing today. Back in September a jury convicted Ganesh “Remy” Ramsaran of
second degree murder. Ramsaran could serve 25 years to life behind bars for the crime. He killed his wife Jennifer in December of 2012. It was three months after she was reported missing that her body was found. A few weeks ago Ramsaran was also indicted on a bribery charge. He is accused of trying to pay a jail officer $100,000 to help him escape. He will be arraigned on that charge at the end of the week.
