Relay for Life of Western Broome is hoping you’ll join them in taking a chance on hope. It’s the theme they’ve adopted to commemorate their seventh year of existence.
The group held a kick-off event Wednesday to drum up excitement for this year’s relay. It’ll take place May 21st and 22nd at Sammon Field in Vestal.
The group hopes to raise $100,000 and believes there is more than enough support out there to reach their goal.
Last year’s relay raised $89,000. Teams are still able to register. They hope to have more than 800 participants when May comes around.
