The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office says they now have a suspect in custody for Tuesday’s fatal shooting in Ithaca, they announced this morning.
The shooting, around 2am, left 47-year-old Paul Garcia dead in a parking lot at the Maple Hill Apartment Complex. Residents say the Bronx man was living with a woman in the complex and the shooting allegedly stemmed from an argument that Garcia had with another tenant.
Police have been looking for the suspect since the shooting. They are expected to release more information later Wednesday.
The investigation continues.
