A Level 3 Sex Offender is under arrest by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office for a failure to report a change in address. 34 year old Christopher Prosser of Smyrna was arrested by Deputies on Monday afternoon. In March, Prosser had moved away from North Norwich to live in South Carolina.
On April 30th, he returned to Chenango County, but did not inform police of the address change within 10 days. Prosser was arraigned in Town of Smyrna Court and sent to Chenango County Jail. He’ll be back in court on Thursday night.
