Chemung County Executive Tom Santulli says  that Sikorsky plans to lay off nearly 400 employees at its Big Flats facility this summer. He says the layoffs will include management, manufacturers and union workers.  Santulli says the decision was made because of a lack of orders for new helicopters and workers may be re-hired as more orders come in.  Sikorsky currently employs more than 1,200 people at the Big Flats location.
