Barbara Fiala officially kicked off her campaign on Saturday with a rally at the old Crowley offices at 95 Court Street. The Broome County Young Democrats hosted the event which was also the grand opening of Barbara Fiala’s state senate candidate headquarters.
Meanwhile, state senator candidate Fred Akshar has gained significant support for his campaign. The New York State Police Investigator’s Association, comprising of over 1,200 active and retired members of the State Bureau of Criminal Investigations, has decided to endorse Akshar. In addition, Akshar also gained the endorsement of the Police Conference of New York. This organization is comprised of over 200 police agencies, including Binghamton, Norwich, and Endicott.
