STOP-DWI Enforcement Campaign underway again this July 4th holiday period

Cortland County Police Agencies and other Southern Tier Law Enforcement Agencies will be participating in the High Visibility Campaign STOP-DWI July 4 Weekend Engagement Campaign across New York State. It’s one of many statewide initiatives promoted by STOP-DWI NY and the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.

This campaign will run from July 1-5. The Statewide STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign also targets Memorial Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Holiday Season, Super Bowl weekend and St. Patrick’s Day.

Highly visible, highly publicized efforts like the STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign aim to further reduce the incidence of drunk and impaired driving.
