This weekend will mark the first Susquehanna River Big Splash Sustainability Fair, the first Big Splash event to come to Owego. The GrassRoots music and dance festival will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Tioga County Fairgrounds. Event coordinator John McNamara joined the WEBO Morning Show today to discuss the performances that will be taking place, including acts by Donna the Buffalo and the Horse Flies. McNamara also says there will be a number of local acts, including WEBO’s own Daphne Braden! Advance tickets for the Susquehanna River Big Splash Sustainability Fair are $10 and can be purchased in Owego at Las Chicas Taqueria or in Binghamton at Cyber Café West. You can also purchase advance tickets online at grassrootsfest.org.
