The man convicted of killing a former Chenango County principal has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Anthony Taglianetti was convicted of second-degree murder in the death of Keith Reed Jr., a former principal for Sherburne-Earlville High School. Taglianetti was found guilty by a jury back in November of last year. Reed had been shot three times and was found dead inside his home in Chatauqua County. Reed’s blood was found on a gun which was found in Taglianetti’s car. Police have said that a possible motive for the murder was an affair between Reed and Taglianetti’s estranged wife.
