The Tioga Central School District will ask residents to vote on a $7.55 million capital project next week. Most of the project consists of infrastructure improvements, including the relocation of district offices to the high school, improving security and handicapped accessibility, four new boilers, and the replacement of asphalt. Superintendent Scot Taylor was a special guest on today’s WEBO Morning Show. He says 92 percent of the cost will be covered by state aid. An additional state grant will be used to turn the district office building into pre-kindergarten classrooms. More information about the capital project is available on the TCSD website. Voting will be open from 11am to 8pm Tuesday in the Middle School Gymnasium. Listen to the full interview below.
