Three people are dead following a car accident in Burington Township on Tuesday. The accident occurred on the Burlington Turnpike near the intersection of Walborn Road. Authorities say that one of the cars was being driven by Sarah Heasley of Towanda. Both she and her husband Clifton Heasley died as a result of the accident. In addition, a male juvenile passenger perished in the other vehicle as well. Authorities have not released the juvenile’s name.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
