Authorities in Pennsylvania are investigating the third drowning in the Twin Tiers this week.
76-year-old Rodney Cline, of Westfield, was reportedly launching his fishing boat into Beechwood Lake in Clymer Township Wednesday morning when the boat drifted away. State Police say Cline decided to swim after it and wound up drowning. Earlier this week a kayaker drowned in the Delaware River and a canoeist drowned on Goodyear Lake in Otsego County. In both of those cases, the victims were not wearing life vests.
