The Tioga County Opioid Coalition met yesterday evening to further discuss the County’s approach at overcoming the illegal drug epidemic. Senator Fred Akshar was in attendance of the meeting. Community Organizer Earle Greene, who was provided to Tioga County through New York State, led a majority of the discussion. Greene is encouraging all members of the coalition to let their approach to the epidemic be data driven. Also at last night’s meeting, it was decided that subcommittees will be formed to organize the coalition’s effort.
