The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office has issued a travel advisory for Tioga County effective immediately.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for our area lasting until the evening hours.
Conditions will continue to deteriorate with gusty winds forecasted for later this afternoon.
Area roadways are slippery, and reports of downed power lines and trees have occurred.
The Sheriff’s Office recommends no unnecessary travel during this period or until the storm passes.
If you must travel, plan on additional travel time, reduce your speed, and use extreme caution.
