Apalachin Lions Easter Egg Hunt set for Saturday, March 23

The 69th annual Apalachin Lions Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23.

The event features an appearance from the Easter Bunny as well as a new digital vision screening for kids, free kids ID’s from the Tioga County Sheriff’s Department and a children’s book giveaway by the Owego Apalachin Family Reading Partnership.

The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 1 p.m. and will be held behind the BOCES West School on Pennsylvania Ave. in Apalachin, with all other activities inside the TLC BOCES School from noon to 2 p.m.

All activities are free for everyone. Those attending are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food pantry. The rain date is Saturday, March 30.
