Anthony Malarkey, 20, of Apalachin is safe after losing his way in the woods near Lily Hill Road.
Malarkey’s ATV overheated at about dark, and he tried to push the vehicle along.
However, he became lost after darkness fell.
Malarkey called 911 at about midnight, and his signal was located.
He was rescued at about 1AM, cold and tired, but otherwise OK.
