A mobile home was completely destroyed in a fire Friday night in Tioga County. It happened at the Post Trailer Park in Apalachin at about 11 pm. The Apalachin Fire Department said one resident was home at the time the fire broke out, but was able to get out safely. The fire department said a vehicle was also destroyed in the fire. The Campville Fire Department responded to assist and crews were on the scene until about 2 am Saturday. The cause is under investigation with Tioga County Fire Investigators, but firefighters did say that the owner of the home said she left candles burning.
