Binghamton company expanding to Owego

A Binghamton company has entered into a multi-year lease on a vacant building in the Town of Owego.

The former SCI Systems Building, located on Route 38 in Owego, was sold to Adam Weitsman for $3 million dollars in December of 2021.

Weitsman has announced that the SureScan Corporation of Binghamton has agreed to use most of the 163,000 square-foot building.

According to their website, SureScan is a customer focused developer of security screening technology used in aviation security, customs, border control, healthcare and mail screening.
