Cal Harris and his family are offering a reward for information leading to the discovery of the remains of his estranged wife, Michele.

Michele Harris disappeared on September 11, 2001, and her body has never been found.

Cal Harris was tried four times over an 11-year period for the murder of his wife. He was convicted twice by Tioga County juries, but both convictions were overturned.

He was then faced a jury trial in Schoharie County, but the third trial would end in a mistrial when the jury was deadlocked. Finally, Harris was found not guilty by a Schoharie County Judge in a bench trial in 2016.

Cal Harris has filed a lawsuit against a former Tioga County official and New York State Police Investigators under the Unjust Conviction and Imprisonment Act.

According to News Channel 34, Cal Harris and his four grown children are announcing a reward for information that results in the recovery of Michele’s remains.

The family will be joined by attorney Bruce Barket at a news conference in Binghamton later this week to release the details of the reward.
