The Village of Candor had its elections last night and the main item on the ballot was Proposition 1 on whether they were going to dissolve the Village of Candor or not. The proposition failed in a landslide 165-70. The Village of Candor will remain its own entity. Also on the ballot, there were 2 seats for trustees. Both Christine Brown and Michael Swartz were incumbents that were running unopposed. Brown received 165 votes and Swartz received 166 votes to both remain trustees for 2 year terms.
