Five people were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Route 96 in Candor. The Friday afternoon crash was triggered by a vehicle exiting the Dollar General Store unsafely. The driver that initiated the crash was alone in his vehicle. There were four people in the second vehicle. All were taken to Wilson Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic tickets are pending. None of the people were identified.
