An electrical problem on the back porch was the cause of a fire Friday night in Waverly.
The home at 15 Lincoln Avenue had extensive smoke damage.
Firefighters from Waverly – Barton, Chemung, Sayre, and Athens responded.
The family of four was able to evacuate safely; there were no injuries.
