On Friday in recognition of National Vietnam Veterans Day and to honor and welcome all Vietnam Era veterans home, Tioga County Veterans’ Service Agency is hosting its 2nd Annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day.
The day will begin with a wreath laying ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the County Courthouse at 9:30am; followed by a ceremony at the Owego VFW Post.
After that there will also be an unveiling of a special new project to honor veterans in Tioga County; lunch will be served to all in attendance from 11:00am – 1:00pm. This event is open to all veterans and their supporters.
