An Elmira man is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in the Village of Owego.
According to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Lewis E. Chapman was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and other narcotics during a traffic stop on June 2nd.
Chapman was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree, a Class D Felony; Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, a class a misdemeanor as well as traffic violations.
Chapman was arraigned in Tioga County CAP Court and released pending further court proceedings.
