Jurors waited six hours before hearing any testimony yesterday in the third Cal Harris murder trial. The defense’s eleventh witness, Kevin Tubbs, took the stand just after 3 p.m. He testified that on the morning of Sept. 12, 2001 at about 6 a.m., he was driving by the Harris’ house on Hagadorn Hill Road in the town of Spencer when he saw a woman who looked like Michele Harris arguing with a man at the end of the Harris’ driveway. The prosecution will continue its cross-examination of Tubbs at 10 a.m. today. The defense has called 11 witnesses so far. It intends to call about six more before resting its case.
