Victoria Cheng, 17, of Spencer New York, was found dead outside an off-campus residence at 12:40PM on Saturday.
The Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department says there is no indication that foul play is involved.
Cheng was found in the snow by a local resident near 380 Pennsylvania Avenue close to the campus.
The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing.
The Tompkins County Sheriff is being assisted in their investigation by the New York State Police, Ithaca Police Department, and Ithaca College Office of Public Safety.
Cheng’s mother Sarah is a graduate of Ithaca College.
Her father Joseph is associate professor of finance and international business in the School of Business, and brother Joshua is a sophomore physics-engineering major in the School of Humanities and Sciences.
