The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a grand larceny which occurred in the Village of Newark Valley during the week of 7/15/19 through 7/19/19. During that time frame, a village-owned welcome sign located on State Route 38 north of the village was stolen. The sign was visible to southbound traffic entering the village limits.
