Sitting Nichols Town Justice Howard Quick has died. Quick passed away yesterday following battle with prostate cancer. he has served as a Nichols Town Justice for the past 9 years. Prior to that, he served on the Nichols Town Board for 6 years.
Quick was a 1966 graduate of Tioga Central High School. He later graduated from Broome Tech, two years later, before finding a 32-year-long career with Xerox.
The viewing for Justice Howard Quick is being held tomorrow from 4-7pm at Sutfin Funeral Chapel on Main Street in Nichols. Funeral services will then be held on Saturday at the Nichols United Methodist Church at 10am.
