A Fox News television personality was ticketed in Tioga County on Sunday afternoon.
The New York State Police say Jeanine Pirro was clocked at 119 miles per hour in a 65 mile per hour zone on Route 17 in Nichols. An Elmira native, Pirro said she was on her way to visit her 89-year-old mother in Elmira.
Pirro was a county judge in Westchester County and also the District Attorney there, before running against Hillary Clinton for Senate.
She later ran for State Attorney General in 2006 but was defeated by Andrew Cuomo.Pirro said she had been driving for hours, and didn’t realize how fast she was going. She must answer her ticket in Town of Nichols court on January 8th
