The New York State Police has identified the victim of a deadly house fire on Monday in the Town of Marathon.
According to police, 71-year-old James H. Stevens was killed in the fire, which occurred on State Route 11 at around 12:30 a.m.
Police said the home was fully engulfed in flames when first responders arrived.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
