The Owego Apalachin School District has announced that the district’s community pool will be closed starting on May 23rd until further notice.
The closure is part of a scheduled capital improvement project.
According to the school district, the work goes beyond routine maintenance and repairs, and represents a significant investment in upgrading and improving the facility.
The pool is expected to be ready for use in time for the fall sports season, which begins in August.
