Local, county and state officials celebrated the opening of a new satellite clinic in Waverly for Tioga County Mental Health Services.
The new clinic is in a wing of the Waverly Village Hall, which is located at 32 Ithaca Street in Waverly.
The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce held a Ribbon Cutting before officials including Waverly Mayor Andy Aronstam, State Senator Tom O’Mara and County Legislator Dennis Mullen joined Tioga County Director of Community Servies Lori Morgan at the podium in a press conference on Wednesday.
The Waverly Clinic will be providing outpatient Mental Health services, specializing in Co-Occurring Treatment, Psychiatric, and Substance Misuse Services including Peer Advocacy.
The Mental Hygiene Clinic in Owego will be the contact for Mental Health Services at the satellite clinic in Waverly. Call 607-687-4000 for scheduling and all other inquiries.
The Waverly clinic will officially open its doors on Monday, Dec. 9.
