The Owego Fire Department recently elected its new officers.
Eric Hawkins has been elected as the new Owego Fire Chief after previously serving as deputy chief.
Charlie Olmstead has been named the First Assistant Chief; Ken Easton is the new Second Assistant Chief; Mike Hopkins is the Deputy Chief and Bill O’Connell has been named the treasurer.
Kelly Hawkins was re-elected as the Owego Fire Department’s secretary.
The Owego Fire Department thanked outgoing officers — Chief Jim Morris, First Assistant chief Andy Churchman, second assistant chief Tyler Boland and Treasurer Janice Johnson — for their service in a post on Facebook.
